Cogs, the problem solving robot, had such fun last year in Maitland he is again heading up to the Hunter Valley Steamfest on the 28th – 29th of April to appear at the Powerhouse Museum marquee. Cogs will entertain children and adults with a fascinating show called Steam Engine Cogs. Children will become part of a steam engine as we attempt to power Cogs – but don’t go too fast or else Cogs might power down! Also look out for Cogs when he appears in the Grand Parade and goes out for walks in the Rally Ground and to Maitland Station.

Cogs will be appearing at the PHM Marquee at the following times:

Saturday 28th April at 10:30am and 3:00pm
Sunday 29th April at 11:30am and 3:00pm

Here are 5 more steam engines that you will find on display in the Powerhouse Museum. Each engine drives a motor that powers 5 quite different things.

The Boulton and Watt steam engine.
