Become a warrior with zen in this samurai helmet.
You will need:
two large sheets of metallic or coloured cardboard
stapler
glue
scissors

This colourful set of Samurai armour and horse tack is thought to have belonged to Koma Kaemon, a samurai officer from the Bizen clan. It dates from the Edo period of Japanese history.
Take a closer look.
Step by step:
1. Trace the helmet template onto coloured cardboard and cut out.
2. Pull together and overlap the back two side flaps of the template. Staple securely.
3. Pull the top flap over and staple it firmly to the other flaps.
4. Turn the helmet around and repeat steps 1 and 2 for the front flaps.
5. Using template 3, cut out the horn decoration using different coloured cardboard and staple to the middle of the helmet forehead.
6. Cut out the side flaps and glue on the flower decorations. When they are dry, glue the side flaps to the helmet.
